Founded in 2007 by Zeny Muslin, the goals of the group are to identify common concerns, develop a strong Latino voice in our institutions, and to share resources for personal and professional growth.
New York Independent Schools LGBT Educators Group
Our group meets throughout the year for professional networking, inclusive curriculum and programming ideas, speaker presentations, and social gatherings. Programs for LGBT educators of color are also integral to our mission. Allies and public school educators are welcome.
