Sage Garner 

Sage is the Head Instructor and Curriculum Development Director for On Track, Me & My Grown-Ups and Young Explorers.  A native New Yorker, she attended public schools in Brooklyn until becoming an Oliver Scholar and joining the Nightingale-Bamford School (NBS) for high school.  While at NBS, Sage led a discussion-based organization called CAFE (Cultural Awareness for Everyone), and during her senior year, created a groundbreaking Independent Study Project entitled "The Experiences of African-American Students at Nightingale," which continues to be widely referenced. She was also a peer leader, tutor and a camp counselor for eleven years at NBS's "Sunny Days" program.

Sage earned her B.A. in African & African-American Studies from the University of Virginia, where she continued to engage her love for mentorship, diversity and entertainment through leadership and media internships.  She worked to unite various cultural groups through music, leading a hip-hop a cappella group and hosting and producing a radio show; and as a Peer Advisor for the Office of African-American Affairs, she provided psychological, social and academic support for 14 students of color throughout their freshman year. She also studied abroad in Valencia, Spain.

Sage spent over four years working at UrbanDaddy, a luxury lifestyle digital media brand, and developed a deep interest in the impact that technology has on businesses and everyday life. Today, Sage works at Decoded, a London-based company that demystifies technology so organizations can succeed in the digital economy.  She is also a proud member of the NBS Alumnae Board.

Michael Collins

Michael is a Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas native, by way of North Carolina who works as a researcher and writer at Diversity Best Practices—the preeminent organization for corporate diversity and inclusion thought leaders.
 
Joining the On Track team in the fall of 2010, Michael has previously worked with middle and high school students as a public speaking coach, instructor and judge during his college years. He has also worked as a researcher at the Center for Contemporary Black History, the Institute for Policy Research, and as a research assistant for the late Dr. Manning Marable’s Malcolm X project and recently published biography.

 Michael is a proud graduate of Northwestern University, and earned his M.A. from Columbia University. His is also a Theta Chapter initiate of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated.

Alexis Dixon 

Alexis is currently teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) to second graders at P.S. 48 in Washington Heights. Previously, she taught fourth grade for four years and served as the grade's Lead Literacy teacher. Alexis entered Education as a part of the 2007 corps of Teach For America. 
Alexis was born in Jamaica and attended the Spence School in New York City. She graduated from Stanford University with a B.A. in Spanish, Portuguese and Sociology. She also holds a Masters in the Science of Teaching from Pace University.

Isaiah Andrew 

Isaiah is an experienced design lead for various fortune 500, start-ups and small-businesses and he teaches User Experience design at NYU's Center for Advanced Digital Application. 

Despite his ventures in digital design, Isaiah holds an Electrical Engineering degree from Northwestern University and he has a strong background and interest in math and science. He has spent many years mentoring and tutoring students in the fields of math and science to help foster the next wave of minority engineers and mathematicians.

Kelechi Oguh

Kelechi, a northern New Jersey native, was introduced to preparatory schools by The Wight Foundation, a scholarship program that helps gifted  young men and women excel within a boarding school environment.  She attended The Hill School in Pottstown, PA and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colgate University.

Currently, she is a commercial real estate advisor at CBRE, Inc where she focuses her practice on tenant representation. Her team represents many of New York City’s leading firms helping them manage growth and cost savings strategies.

Passionate about philanthropic initiatives, Kelechi is active in a number of The Hill School and Colgate University initiatives, modeling and promoting leadership in alumni fundraising efforts for financial aid.
